The typical hotel booking application follows this workflow:
Search for hotels
Use get_list to search for available hotels by destination, check-in/check-out dates, and other criteria. Results include hotel details, pricing, and availability.
Get hotel details
Use get_detailed_info to retrieve full property information including amenities, policies, photos, and descriptions.
Check availability and rates
Use get_availability to verify real-time availability, then get_rates or get_recommended_rate to retrieve detailed rate information including cancellation policies.
Get rate details
Use get_rate_details for comprehensive rate information including taxes, fees, and commission details.
Prepare for booking
Use get_checkout_data to retrieve billing, payment, and traveler information needed to complete the booking.
