Step-by-step workflow for building a car rental application with the Car API.

The typical car rental booking application follows this workflow:

Check availability

Use check_availability to search for available rental cars by location, pick-up/drop-off dates, and other criteria.

Get vendor locations

Use get_vendor_locations to retrieve details about rental car pickup and drop-off locations.

Get rate details

Use get_rate_details for comprehensive rate information including taxes, fees, and insurance options.

Prepare for booking

Use get_checkout_data to retrieve billing, payment, and traveler information needed to complete the booking.

Book the car

Use book to create the reservation. Include payment details, traveler information, and any special requests.

Manage the reservation

Use get_reservation_details to view the booking, list_reservations to see all reservations, or cancel to cancel a booking.
