# Hotels app workflow

The typical hotel booking application follows this workflow:

#### Search for hotels

Use `get_list` to search for available hotels by destination, check-in/check-out dates, and other criteria. Results include hotel details, pricing, and availability.

#### Get hotel details

Use `get_detailed_info` to retrieve full property information including amenities, policies, photos, and descriptions.

#### Check availability and rates

Use `get_availability` to verify real-time availability, then `get_rates` or `get_recommended_rate` to retrieve detailed rate information including cancellation policies.

#### Get rate details

Use `get_rate_details` for comprehensive rate information including taxes, fees, and commission details.

#### Prepare for booking

Use `get_checkout_data` to retrieve billing, payment, and traveler information needed to complete the booking.

#### Book the hotel

Use `book` to create the reservation. Include payment details, traveler information, and any special requests.

#### Manage the reservation

Use `get_reservation_details` to view the booking, `get_reservation_list` to list all reservations, or `cancel` to cancel a booking.
