# Cars app workflow

The typical car rental booking application follows this workflow:

#### Check availability

Use `check_availability` to search for available rental cars by location, pick-up/drop-off dates, and other criteria.

#### Get vendor locations

Use `get_vendor_locations` to retrieve details about rental car pickup and drop-off locations.

#### Get rate details

Use `get_rate_details` for comprehensive rate information including taxes, fees, and insurance options.

#### Prepare for booking

Use `get_checkout_data` to retrieve billing, payment, and traveler information needed to complete the booking.

#### Book the car

Use `book` to create the reservation. Include payment details, traveler information, and any special requests.

#### Manage the reservation

Use `get_reservation_details` to view the booking, `list_reservations` to see all reservations, or `cancel` to cancel a booking.
